Chapter 5: Oil Pastels in Sal-Zar Medium™
The fit is immediate not linseed oil but it is Sal-Zar, The Mixed Media Medium.™

The Sal-Zar Medium is applied freely to the paper. Diego Rivera would have loved Sal-Zar. The aim of the book Sal-Zar is to call your attention to the Sal-Zar Medium and to create a domain for myself. For the Sal-Zar Medium is truly the Mixed Media Medium™ I claim it to be.

Oil pastels first appeared as an artist’s material a number of years ago and are very popular. The oil pastel itself has changed. Oil pastel is surely much more diverse that soft pastels, and it has been extensively used by artists. From Big Stick Oil Pastels™ to small ones they have become almost a standard in exhibitions on works-on-paper
