Chapter 8: Mixed Media Medium™ in Sal-Zar Medium™
Today, many artists are enamored with Mixed Media applications Therefore, the advantages of Sal-Zar: Mixed Media Medium™

I believe that my designating Sal-Zar as the Mixed Media Medium™ is appropriate. A caveat: one may not use Sal-Zar as a vehicle in water media. As a new age resin, Sal-Zar belongs to the poly-varnish resins.

This can be confirmed by an examination of Sal-Zar’s intrinsic value when it is combined with other mediums. It has been used with spray enamels, oil paints, as a coating on top of water media, such as watercolor paintings, worked with acrylic paintings, used with stains; it has been fairly extensively used as a vehicle with wax to significantly enhance and advance encaustic painting on wood and canvas; as the single best replacement for dammar varnish in oil painting; applied as a final varnish on oil paintings, applied to paper as a vehicle for graphite, soft pastels and hard pastels and oil pastels.
