WATER: UMVA November Juried Members’ SHOW

This November theme show at the UMVA Gallery, at the Portland Media Center was juried by Susan Smith, artist and Professor of art at the Univeristy of Maine, Orono campus. My painting Water Wheel fits the them nicely and heralds the fact that many rivers and suitable streams in Maine had  grist mills that operated with water wheels. Grist Mills were extremeny imporant in Maine and many other states as well.
