PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1986-2007: Artist/President, The Maine Artists’ Space (MAS) / Danforth Gallery, Portland, Maine
Roland Salazar Rose is the Founder of this alternative visual arts space, voting member of the National Association of Artists’ Organizations. It  held hundreds of shows at its physical gallery the Danforth Gallery, first show opened Dec 6, 1988. Then, at the end of 2001 it closed this space and launched the Danforth Gallery as an Online Gallery.  In 2007 it closed all operations.

CONSULTANCY
Considerable experience in numerous assignments to government: Job Bank, U.S. Department of Labor; Race Relations, U.S. Navy under Admiral Zumwalt; Consultant to the Southern Federation of Cooperatives; Urban Renewal Planning in the mid-west; Substance Abuse, state and national auspices; Mental Retardation; Tax and Management applications.
